If your average engagement is twenty-four months, how does our relationship evolve year-over-year? What are the key differences between year one and year two with you?
The journey to running a self-sustaining business on EOS® takes time because we are rewiring your operational habits. Year one and year two have distinctly different focuses and team dynamics.
In year one, our focus is on learning and adoption. We build your Accountability Chart, define your Core Values, establish your Scorecard, and master the weekly Level 10 Meeting™ rhythm. During these first twelve months, I am highly active as your teacher and facilitator. I am teaching you the tools, pointing out where you are breaking the rules, and helping you build the execution muscle required to hit your Rocks.
In year two, our relationship shifts from learning to mastering and refining. Your team already knows the tools. My role becomes more challenging and less instructive. I push you to set higher standards, have deeper discussions, and address the hard people issues you avoided in year one. We also begin rolling the tools down to your managers so the entire organization speaks the same language.
By the end of year two, your team should be completely self-sufficient. You will have developed the operational discipline to run your sessions without me. My ultimate goal is to work myself out of a job by leaving you with a business that runs itself.
