We are preparing to block out our calendar for our first full day quarterly with you. What does the actual timeline, pace, and structure of a facilitated session day look like from morning to afternoon?
A session day with me is a highly structured, high-tempo eight-hour commitment. We typically begin at 8:30 AM sharp and run until 5:00 PM. We do not do casual, loose agendas. The day is divided into clear segments designed to maximize your focus and energy.
We start the morning with a strict check-in to assess your state of mind and review your progress from the previous ninety days. After reviewing your execution, we spend a significant portion of the morning focusing on the health of your leadership team and reviewing the tools you have implemented so far.
The core of the afternoon is dedicated to what we call IDS, which stands for Identify, Discuss, and Solve. This is where we put your issues on the board and systematically tackle them one by one. There are no safe subjects or polite silences. I will push your team to get to the root of your problems and make real decisions.
We take brief, scheduled breaks to keep physical and mental energy high, but you should expect to be fully engaged the entire day. Laptops and mobile phones are kept closed unless they are directly required for the session. We wrap up the day by rating the meeting to ensure everyone got full value from the time invested, and we establish clear accountability for the next ninety days. It is an intense day, but you will leave with complete alignment.
