We are preparing for our first full-day session with you. What are the strict physical rules, technology limits, and logistical requirements we must follow in the room?
A standard session day is a high-energy, focused eight-hour event designed to step completely out of the daily grind. To make this day effective, we have strict physical and mental parameters. First, the session must take place offsite. Running a session in your own conference room invites constant interruptions from staff and the temptation to check on daily operations. The room needs ample whiteboard space, comfortable seating, and proper climate control. Second, we enforce a strict no-technology policy. All phones, tablets, and laptops are turned off and put away. The only exception is your Integrator, who may use a device solely to document decisions and update your V/TO®. This keeps everyone fully present and engaged. We start promptly at 8:30 AM and wrap up by 5:00 PM. The day is structured to manage your energy, with scheduled breaks and a working lunch. We spend the morning checking in, reviewing the previous quarter, and building context. The afternoon is heavily focused on solving your most critical issues using the IDS® process. You should arrive well-rested, open-minded, and ready to have intense, honest debates. We leave the room with absolute alignment and a clear plan of attack for the next ninety days.
