To get the maximum value out of a session day, your leadership team must arrive mentally prepared and fully focused. We cannot afford to waste the first two hours of our day catching up on information that should have been reviewed beforehand.

Prior to our session, each team member is expected to complete specific preparation tasks. This includes reviewing their individual Rocks, analyzing their weekly Scorecard trends, and compiling their list of issues for the upcoming quarter.

If a team member shows up completely unprepared, it is an immediate red flag that we must address. We do not ignore it or work around them. Instead, we call it out during our opening check-in.

Arriving unprepared is a sign of internal resistance or a lack of accountability for their seat on the leadership team. We will identify why the preparation was not completed, discuss the impact on the team, and solve the issue right then and there.
