A standard session day is an intense, high-energy working environment that requires physical and mental isolation from your daily operations. We meet offsite, completely removed from your office. This prevents staff from interrupting you and stops the leadership team from slipping back into firefighting mode. The room must have a large whiteboard, comfortable chairs, and high-speed internet. We start promptly at eight in the morning and conclude by five in the afternoon. The choreography is highly structured. We begin with a check-in to clear our minds, review the previous quarter's results, and assess our progress on Rocks. By mid-morning, we transition into reviewing your organizational tools, such as the Accountability Chart or the V/TO®. The afternoon is heavily focused on IDS®, where we tackle your most critical, systemic issues. We take short, deliberate breaks throughout the day to recharge. These are structured as a Strategic Pause to prevent cognitive overload. We do not allow laptops or phones to remain open during the session, except during designated breaks. You must imagine yourself in an isolated environment where the only focus is the future of the company. I will aggressively manage the energy in the room, keeping the team disciplined, focused, and moving through the agenda. You will leave the room exhausted, but with absolute clarity on your direction for the next ninety days.
