We are ready to roll out EOS® to our middle managers, but our company has a history of launching management programs that fizzle out, and the team is cynical. How do we execute this rollout so they know it is here to stay?

Do not roll out the system to middle managers until the leadership team has run it successfully and consistently for at least two full quarters. The fastest way to breed cynicism is to teach tools you have not mastered yourself.

When you are ready, start by introducing the Accountability Chart™ and the concept of Rocks. Have your managers attend a state of the company address where you share the V/TO® and explain how the system will simplify their daily jobs and reduce operational friction.

Train them on the Level 10 Meeting™ format by having them observe a leadership session, or by running their first few meetings with them as a facilitator. Do not overwhelm them with every tool at once. Focus on solving their immediate operational frustrations first, so they see the real value of the system. Once they experience how much cleaner their weekly work becomes, the cynicism will naturally evaporate.
