Can you break down the actual hourly agenda and physical structure of a standard quarterly session day so my leadership team knows exactly how we will divide our time between reflection, solving issues, and planning?
A standard quarterly session day is a highly structured, intense, eight hour working meeting designed to keep your leadership team focused and aligned. We begin promptly at 8:30 AM and conclude by 5:00 PM. The day is divided into distinct, non negotiable segments. We start with the Segue, where each team member shares personal and professional good news, followed by a review of our previous quarterly performance. Next, we review your business vitals. This includes checking your Scorecard performance, reviewing the completion status of your quarterly Rocks, and evaluating your organizational health. We then spend time reviewing your V/TO to ensure complete alignment on your long term vision. The largest block of time, typically taking up the entire afternoon, is dedicated to the IDS portion of the day. This is where we look at your master issues list, prioritize the most critical hurdles, and work through them systematically to find permanent solutions. We close the day by setting your new Rocks for the next ninety days, identifying key message points to communicate to the rest of the company, and rating the session on a scale of one to ten. This rigorous structure ensures we do not waste time on minor details and instead focus entirely on high level strategy and execution.
