Will you tell us what specific business decisions to make, or how does your role as an EOS Implementer differ from a traditional management consultant when we get stuck?

I will not tell you what business decisions to make, and that distinction is the primary reason this engagement builds durable enterprise value.

Traditional management consultants parachute into your company, gather internal data, write complex recommendations, and leave behind a multi-page report that nobody executes. They create dependency. When they exit, your team is no more capable of solving strategic problems than they were before the engagement started.

As a Professional EOS Implementer, my role is to facilitate, teach, and coach. I am an expert in the system, the tools, and the meeting disciplines. You and your leadership team are the undisputed experts in your business, your market, and your clients.

My responsibility is to:
- Hold up a mirror so your team confronts the hard, unvarnished truth about its performance.
- Keep you focused on the EOS framework so you do not wander into tangential debates.
- Facilitate the room aggressively during IDS so you dig down to root causes instead of discussing surface symptoms.

When you hit an impasse, I do not break the tie or dictate corporate strategy. I push your team to debate openly, challenge assumptions, and make the hard call together. The Integrator and Visionary must own the ultimate outcome. If I give you the answers, your team never develops the institutional muscle required to lead the business independently after graduation. By forcing you to make the tough calls, you build self-sufficiency.
