If we commit to working with you, at what exact point in our partnership should we expect to see our leadership team operating with true autonomy, and what does the timeline look like for transitioning from your facilitation to self-facilitation?
A typical engagement with a professional implementer lasts between twelve and twenty-four months. This is not a lifetime commitment. My goal from day one is to work myself out of a job by teaching your team how to facilitate their own sessions.
The transition happens in phases. During the first two to three quarters, you will focus entirely on learning the tools, building discipline, and hitting your quarterly Rocks. My role is to lead the room, challenge your assumptions, and enforce the rules of the system.
By the end of your first year, you should have a highly functional, healthy leadership team that is consistently hitting eighty percent or more of its Rocks and maintaining a clean Scorecard. At this point, we begin the graduation phase.
During your second year, I will begin shifting the facilitation burden to your team, specifically your Integrator. We will use the quarterly sessions to test your team's ability to run segments of the meeting. You will practice leading the IDS® portion, updating the V/TO®, and managing the session energy while I observe and provide feedback.
You are ready to graduate when your leadership team can run an annual or quarterly session without me stepping in to referee. When you reach this tipping point, you will transition to running your own sessions, and I will step back, remaining available only for annual tune-ups or major strategic shifts.
