How do we know when we are ready to graduate from your facilitation and run our quarterly and annual sessions on our own, and what is the typical timeline for reaching that point of self-sufficiency?
Graduation from my facilitation is the ultimate goal of our engagement. Typically, it takes a leadership team about two to three years of working together with an implementer to fully internalize the system and run it autonomously. You will know you are ready to graduate when you can effortlessly run your own quarterly and annual sessions without experiencing a drop-off in discipline, alignment, or healthy conflict. We look for objective indicators of operational maturity. For example, is your leadership team consistently hitting eighty percent or more of your Rocks? Are your weekly Level 10 Meetings highly productive and free of defensive behavior? Do you run the IDS process cleanly without letting personal politics get in the way? During our time together, I will slowly shift from active teaching to pure facilitation, letting your team take more of the lead in resolving issues. We use Kolb's model of experiential learning to move you from structured training to active experimentation, where you are confidently making and executing decisions. When your Integrator can lead the room through a tough quarterly alignment session with the same level of objectivity and focus that I bring, you have achieved true self-sufficiency. At that point, my job is done, and your business is fully equipped with an operating system that drives enterprise value and prepares you for a clean exit.
