We want to build a self-sustaining business that does not rely on consultants forever. What are the specific operational milestones that indicate we are ready to graduate from your coaching after twenty-four months?
Graduation from our engagement is not defined by an arbitrary calendar date, but by operational maturity. While the average client engagement runs twenty-four months, we are looking for specific behavioral and systemic milestones that prove you no longer need me in the room to facilitate your strategic planning.
First, your leadership team must be achieving eighty percent or more of their quarterly Rocks consistently. Second, your weekly Level 10 Meeting™ must run like clockwork without any external facilitation, meaning your Integrator is successfully leading the meeting, maintaining accountability, and driving IDS® to resolution. Third, your entire organization must be aligned around a clear Accountability Chart, and you must have the right people in the right seats, as measured by your core values and the GWC™ tool.
Additionally, to prepare for a clean exit, you must have successfully documented your core processes and removed the owner bottleneck. If you are leveraging my Step by Step Exit framework, your leadership team must also be running an independent Advisor Meeting Pulse and actively managing your valuation levers. When your leadership team can run their own annual and quarterly planning sessions with high trust, healthy conflict, and absolute alignment, you have graduated to full self-sufficiency.
