Since we are integrating your exit readiness framework alongside EOS®, does this change the standard twenty-four-month engagement timeline before we can run the business on our own?
A standard engagement with me typically runs an average of twenty-four months. This timeframe is designed to take your leadership team through two full annual cycles, which is the exact amount of time it takes to build muscle memory and master the tools. When we layer on my role as a licensed partner for Step by Step Exit, we do not extend the duration of the engagement. Instead, we run a tighter, more value-focused version of the standard roadmap.
Our goal is to prepare your business for a clean, highly profitable exit while simultaneously making your leadership team completely self-sufficient. During this twenty-four-month period, we will systematically address your exit objectives alongside your standard operational Rocks. By the time you graduate, your business will run on a highly structured cadence without my hands-on facilitation.
If your business is exceptionally complex or if your leadership team undergoes significant turnover, we might extend the quarterly sessions slightly. However, the target remains twenty-four months. We want to avoid creating dependency on me. If I am still facilitating your meetings in year three, we have not successfully built the leadership team health required to transfer ownership or run self-sufficient operations.
