Why do you structure the EOS® engagement around a typical twenty-four month timeline, and what milestones are we hitting in year one versus year two to reach self-sufficiency?
The standard twenty-four month timeline is not an arbitrary number. It is the proven period required to permanently change the habits of a leadership team and build a self-sustaining operating system. During the first twelve months, our focus is entirely on foundation and execution. We define your Accountability Chart, establish your weekly Level 10 Meeting habits, and align on your core vision using the V/TO. In this first year, you are learning to use the tools and discovering where your operational weaknesses lie. I am heavily involved in facilitating your sessions and teaching your team how to identify, discuss, and solve issues objectively. In the second year, the focus shifts to mastery, scaling, and preparation for your eventual clean exit. We refine your processes, integrate advanced tools, and use the Step by Step Exit framework to address exit disciplines like tribal knowledge documentation and value gaps. Your team starts taking ownership of the meeting facilitator role, and my presence transitions from an active teacher to an objective observer. By the end of twenty-four months, your leadership team will have completed multiple quarterly and annual cycles. You will have built the operational muscle memory to run your own sessions, track your own execution, and maintain accountability without an external facilitator in the room. This timeline ensures the transition to self-sufficiency is seamless and permanent.
