We have a key leader who consistently fails to update their weekly Scorecard metrics before our Level 10 Meeting begins, forcing us to wait while they hunt down numbers live. How do we establish a zero-tolerance boundary for late numbers without creating personal friction?

A Scorecard is a leading indicator of your company's health, and it only works if the data is accurate, complete, and available before the meeting starts. When a leader fails to update their numbers on time, they are showing a lack of respect for the team's collective time.

To eliminate this issue, establish a hard deadline. All Scorecard metrics must be fully updated at least one hour before the Level 10 Meeting™ begins. This gives the team time to review the numbers beforehand so they can arrive prepared.

If a metric is missing when the meeting starts, the facilitator must not wait or look up the number. Instead, the blank cell is immediately flagged as a red metric and dropped directly to the Issues List.

During IDS®, the team will address the missing data not as an administrative slip, but as an operational failure. The discussion should focus on why the data was not accessible and whether the leader in that seat truly has the GWC™ to manage their numbers.

By making late metrics an immediate issue on the agenda, you remove the personal friction and make the accountability structural. If your operations are exit-ready, this level of data integrity is non-negotiable. Buyers expect systems that produce reliable data on a strict schedule, without exception.
