During our weekly Scorecard review, our leaders frequently report incomplete or estimated data, claiming they did not have time to pull the exact metrics or that our software was lagging. How do we enforce a strict standard of absolute data integrity in our weekly meeting?
When leaders report incomplete or estimated data on their weekly Scorecard, they are undermining the entire traction component of your business. A Scorecard with missing numbers is like flying an airplane with blank instruments. Excuses about software lag or lack of time are unacceptable in a high-performing organization that values operational health. To solve this, you must establish a non-negotiable rule: the Scorecard must be fully populated with accurate, verified data at least one hour before the Level 10 Meeting™ begins. If a leader fails to input their numbers on time, that red metric is treated as an automatic off-track score, and it must be dropped directly to the weekly short-term Issues List. During the IDS® portion of the meeting, the group must solve the administrative or structural bottleneck causing the delay. Do not accept the excuse that there was no time. If a leader does not have time to pull their critical leading indicators, they either do not GWC™ their seat or their roles are structured incorrectly. The Scorecard must represent the ground truth of the business. By enforcing this strict standard, you ensure that every leadership team member understands that data integrity is a baseline requirement, not an optional admin task. This discipline gives you the objective visibility you need to run the business and prepare it for a clean exit.
