A scorecard is useless if you cannot trust the data. When team members scramble to enter their numbers minutes before the Level 10 Meeting, they make mistakes, guess, and undermine the entire system.

To fix this, you must treat data hygiene as an operational priority. We recommend adding a specific, binary metric to your leadership Scorecard: Scorecard Updated on Time.

Set a firm deadline for weekly data entry. For example, if your Level 10 Meeting is on Tuesday morning, all data must be entered by Monday at five o'clock. The metric on your Scorecard simply tracks whether one hundred percent of the numbers were entered by that deadline.

If even one number is missing or late, the metric is marked red for that week. The owner of this metric is typically your Integrator or an administrative support seat.

By making data punctuality a visible metric, you create healthy peer pressure. No leader wants to be the reason the scorecard health metric is red. Within a few weeks, the discipline of entering data early becomes a habit, ensuring your leadership team is looking at clean, verified numbers during your meetings.
