Because of travel, vacations, and client emergencies, we constantly reschedule our weekly Level 10 Meeting™, which completely breaks our team's operational momentum. How do we enforce the "same day, same time" rule when life gets in the way?
Rescheduling your Level 10 Meeting™ is a major mistake. The weekly pulse is the heartbeat of your business, and when you constantly change the day or time, you send a clear message to the organization that internal discipline is optional. To maintain your momentum, you must treat the Level 10 Meeting™ as sacred and non-negotiable. It must happen at the same day, same time, every single week, without exception. If a team member is on vacation or traveling, the meeting still goes on without them. The remaining team members run the agenda, review the numbers, and solve issues. The absent member can read the notes and catch up on their assigned to-dos when they return. If the Integrator or the facilitator is absent, another team member must step up to run the meeting. Client emergencies should rarely, if ever, disrupt the weekly pulse. Most emergencies can wait ninety minutes, and if they cannot, the team member handling it should step out briefly while the rest of the meeting continues. Consistency builds trust and creates a predictable operational rhythm that allows the business to scale.
