Showing up unprepared to a Level 10 Meeting is a direct violation of the Trust pillar in our charter. It shows a lack of respect for your peers' time. The ninety-minute meeting pulse is sacred, and every minute spent waiting for someone to log into a spreadsheet is pure operational waste.

To enforce a prep standard, establish a hard cutoff time for all updates. All scorecard metrics, Rock statuses, and to-do updates must be completed in your tracking software at least one hour before the meeting starts.

If a leader fails to update their numbers by the cutoff, their metrics are treated as missing, which is the same as being red. The facilitator will drop those missing numbers to the Issues List.

During IDS, the issue to solve is not the red metric itself, but the leader's lack of preparation. Discuss why they are struggling to complete their prep. Is it a time-management issue, or is it a sign of a deeper GWC issue?

By shining a spotlight on this lack of discipline in front of the entire team, you create healthy peer pressure. No leader wants to be the focus of an IDS session because they forgot to spend five minutes updating their numbers.
