When your Integrator behaves like a data collector, they are enabling a culture of zero accountability. This defeatist habit completely defeats the purpose of the Data Component in the EOS® framework. The seat owner who is accountable for the metric must be the one who inputs the number.

To break this cycle, the Integrator must immediately stop chasing people. If a leadership team member shows up to the Level 10 Meeting™ with an empty box on the scorecard, that number is red. We do not pause the meeting to find the data. We do not let them log in and look it up on the spot. We move directly to the next item.

An empty box is an immediate issue. It means the seat owner does not GWC™ (Get It, Want It, Capacity to Do It) their role or is failing their commitment to the team. During the IDS® portion of your meeting, address the behavior, not just the missing data.

The metric owner must feel the healthy peer pressure of showing up unprepared in front of their peers. Once they experience the discomfort of explaining why their box is blank twice, they will build the habit of logging their own data on time.
