A To-Do in the Level 10 Meeting™ is a binary commitment. It is either done or not done. There is no such thing as a partial completion or being ninety percent of the way there.

To break this pattern of delayed execution, your facilitator must enforce a strict, non-negotiable standard during the To-Do review. When reviewing the list, each leader must answer with a simple done or not done. If a task is not complete, it stays on the list, and the facilitator should drop it to the Issues List for IDS® if it has been carried over for more than two weeks.

Use the IDS® session to understand why the task is stuck. Is the leader lacking the resources to finish it, or did they take on a project that is too complex for a weekly To-Do? If the task is too large, break it down into smaller, bite-sized weekly steps that can realistically be closed within seven days.

Hold your team to the ninety percent completion standard. If your overall To-Do completion rate is consistently low, address the underlying capacity and accountability issues during your quarterly meetings.
