What is the functional difference in how you facilitate our one-day quarterly sessions versus our two-day annual planning session, and how should our leadership team prepare differently for these two formats?
The primary difference between your one-day quarterly sessions and your two-day annual planning session lies in the scope of our focus and the depth of our strategic thinking.
Our quarterly sessions are highly operational. We spend these single-day sessions looking back at the previous ninety days, grading our Rocks, and resolving the key issues that are holding us back. We then pivot to the next quarter, establishing a fresh set of ninety-day Rocks to keep the team aligned and focused.
Our two-day annual planning session is a deeper, more reflective experience. During these two days, we step away from the daily grind to evaluate your long-term strategy. We review your core values, your core focus, and your ten-year target on the V/TO®. We also conduct a thorough evaluation of your leadership team health, analyze your industry landscape, and set your goals for the upcoming year.
To prepare for a quarterly session, your team needs to review their personal Rock progress and update their Scorecard. For the annual session, we require deeper preparation, including reflecting on the previous year's performance and considering big-picture market shifts. Both sessions are vital to maintaining your operational momentum and strategic alignment.
