How does the structure of our two-day annual session differ from our standard one-day quarterlies, and what specific prep work do you expect us to complete before we show up for the annual?

The transition from our one-day quarterlies to our two-day annual session is a significant shift in focus and energy. While our quarterly sessions are tactical sprints designed to keep your execution tight for the next eighty-nine days, the two-day annual is a deep, strategic dive designed to reset your entire vision, team health, and long-term plans.

Day one of the annual is focused almost entirely on team health and strategic reflection. We spend time assessing the strength, trust, and communication of the leadership team. We review the high-level performance of the company over the past year, celebrate our major wins, and address any deep-seated team dynamics that are holding us back. We also begin the work of reviewing your core values, your core focus, and your ten-year target.

Day two of the annual mirrors our standard quarterly session but with much longer horizons. We establish your three-year picture, design your one-year plan, set your corporate and individual Rocks for the first quarter of the new year, and tackle a massive, consolidated issues list.

The preparation for your two-day annual is more rigorous than a quarterly. You must complete a team health assessment, gather detailed feedback from your key department leaders, and spend time individually reflecting on the past year.

You must arrive at the annual with a clear perspective on what went right, what went wrong, and what major strategic shifts the company needs to make to scale successfully over the next twelve to thirty-six months.
