To get ready for your Focus Day, you must resolve to freeze all major structural changes and new strategic initiatives. You need to gather basic data, such as your current team directory, a rough list of who does what, and your financial performance indicators from the last twelve months.

The most critical thing to fix first is your collective mindset. If the leadership team is unwilling to be completely honest about your operational breakdowns, or if there is a silent agreement to protect personal kingdoms, we will fail.
