If we approach the typical twenty-four-month graduation mark but our team still wants you in the room, how do we evaluate whether to extend our engagement or force ourselves to self-facilitate?

The goal of our engagement is for your team to achieve complete self-sufficiency. Extending the engagement simply because it feels comfortable is a trap. We evaluate your readiness to graduate based on specific, objective indicators of your team health and execution discipline. First, your Integrator must be fully capable of facilitating your quarterly and annual sessions without my intervention. They must understand the tools, maintain the tight agenda, and confidently lead the team through IDS. Second, your team must be consistently achieving eighty percent or more of your quarterly Rocks and maintaining an aligned V/TO. Third, your leadership team must have a healthy, open, and honest dynamic where you solve hard issues without needing a neutral third party to referee. If you meet these criteria, you are ready to self-facilitate, and keeping me in the room actually holds you back from taking full ownership. However, if you are experiencing a major transition, such as preparing for an imminent business exit, onboarding a new leadership team member, or executing a massive operational overhaul powered by new AI systems, we may mutually decide to extend our engagement for a few targeted quarters to navigate that specific complexity.
