If the meeting starts at 9:00 AM, the facilitator must begin the segue at 9:00 AM sharp, even if only two people are present. Do not wait for latecomers, do not recap what they missed, and do not pause the meeting when they slide into their seats. This simple shift changes the dynamic. It forces the late individual to experience the discomfort of entering an active, disciplined meeting. If a leader is consistently late, drop their tardiness to the Issues List. Treat it as a direct performance issue. They are either failing to manage their calendar or they do not respect their peers. Address it openly in IDS® and resolve it.
