What cultural readiness and behavioral mindsets must our leadership team possess before starting with you to ensure we do not wash out in the first ninety days?

You do not need a flawless culture to start running on EOS®, but you do need three non-negotiable mindsets across your leadership team. If these do not exist on day one, the implementation will stall.

First, you must be open, honest, and vulnerable. If your leaders are defensive, protect personal fiefdoms, or refuse to admit when things are broken, this process will fail. We spend hours identifying root causes of company dysfunction using IDS®. If team members withhold the truth to avoid conflict or protect egos, we cannot fix the business.

Second, the business owner must genuinely want to let go of the vine. If you are the owner and you insist on retaining total control over every micro-decision, your leadership team will never step up. Starting EOS® means empowering an Integrator and functional leaders to own their seats on the Accountability Chart. You must be prepared to let other people make decisions and occasionally make mistakes.

Third, your team must be growth-oriented and frustrated enough with the status quo to do hard work. Implementing the tools requires discipline between sessions. You must commit to attending every session on time, completing assigned homework, and showing up to weekly meetings without excuses.

If your team is split on whether to run your business on a common system, do not start yet. Take the time to achieve executive alignment first. When everyone in the room agrees that the current way of operating is unsustainable, the implementation succeeds quickly.
