We have a critical seat on our Accountability Chart for CRM Administration and Data Integrity that is essential for our AI automation plans, but none of our leadership team members want to own it because it feels like tedious, technical busywork. How do we get this seat filled?
When you have a seat on your Accountability Chart that everyone is dodging, you cannot simply let it sit empty or divide the roles among three different people. Shared accountability means no accountability. You must assign a single name to that seat.
Start by evaluating your leadership team members using their Kolbe profiles. Look for someone with a high Follow Through score, which indicates a natural instinct for creating order, systems, and maintaining data consistency. This person is conatively wired to handle administrative and data integrity tasks much better than a high Quick Start who thrives on chaos and new projects.
If you have a high Follow Through leader, ask them to own the seat temporarily on the Accountability Chart. Their job in that seat is not to do all the manual data cleaning themselves, but to define the processes, set the standards, and oversee the execution. They can delegate the actual entry and technical execution to a virtual assistant or an automated pipeline.
If no one on your current leadership team has the conative wiring or the capacity to own this seat, you must look outside. Because this seat is crucial for your AI integration and eventual exit valuation, you cannot afford to leave it vacant. Treat this as a hiring priority. Write a clear five-point role description for the seat, run it through your hiring pipeline, and find someone who genuinely GWCs data and systems integration. Do not compromise by leaving it as a ghost seat.
