We are eager to get our entire company aligned, but we are confused about the correct sequence for rolling out the EOS® tools. Should we launch everything at once, or is there a specific order we must follow?
Trying to roll out all of the EOS® tools at once is a guaranteed way to overwhelm your team and crash your implementation. There is a precise, proven sequence to adopting these tools that builds the necessary foundation for long-term success.
Your journey must always start with the leadership team. You cannot teach what you do not live. Spend your first ninety days mastering the foundational tools at the leadership level first. This means establishing your weekly Level 10 Meeting™, building your first Scorecard, writing your quarterly Rocks, and solidifying your Accountability Chart™.
Only after your leadership team is running on EOS® with absolute discipline and consistency should you begin cascading the tools down. Start by sharing your completed V/TO® with the entire company during a State of the Company meeting. This aligns everyone around the core vision.
Next, introduce the Accountability Chart™ to the next layer of management so they understand their seats and GWC™ criteria. Once that is clear, roll out the Level 10 Meeting™ and Scorecards to the departmental levels. By introducing the tools in this structured sequence, you allow each layer of the organization to build confidence and competence before adding more complexity.
