Our Visionary is constantly bringing new AI SaaS platforms and autonomous agent frameworks into our weekly Level 10 Meeting™, trying to pivot us into new tech-enabled service lines. How do we use our Core Focus on the V/TO® to filter out these distractions without suppressing the Visionary's natural entrepreneurial drive?
It is the natural tendency of a Visionary to get excited about new technology, but constantly bringing new AI tools into your weekly operations will cause massive whiplash for your team. To keep your organization focused, you must use your Core Focus on the V/TO® as a strict strategic filter.
When your Visionary brings a new AI tool to the table, ask one simple question: does this tool directly help us dominate our niche and serve our target market, or is it a distraction? If it does not align perfectly with your Core Focus, it must be parked on your long-term Issues List.
Do not suppress your Visionary's creativity. Instead, channel it by creating a structured sandbox. Give them a small, defined research and development budget and a specific seat on the Accountability Chart where they can experiment with new tools without disrupting daily operations. They can share their findings during your quarterly planning sessions, but the weekly Level 10 Meeting™ must remain strictly focused on solving immediate issues and executing your agreed-upon quarterly Rocks.
