What happens if our leadership team wants to continue working with you beyond the standard 24-month engagement roadmap?
The ultimate goal of an EOS® engagement is client self-sufficiency. Over the course of 24 months, spanning your foundational days, seven quarterlies, and two annual planning sessions, my primary responsibility is to transfer mastery of the system to your leadership team. A healthy leadership team should be fully capable of facilitating their own quarterly and annual sessions by the end of Year 2.
However, many mature companies choose to retain a Professional EOS Implementer® past the two-year mark. When clients make this decision, it is rarely because they lack understanding of the tools. They do it because having an external, objective facilitator in the room permanently changes the dynamic.
When your Integrator or Visionary facilitates an offsite, they cannot fully participate in the debate. They are forced to manage the clock, control dominant personalities, and maintain process discipline while simultaneously trying to advocate for their operational seat. Retaining an outside facilitator eliminates that internal conflict. It allows every single executive, including the owner and the Integrator, to sit as equal participants at the table.
Additionally, for companies utilizing our Step by Step Exit disciplines or scaling advanced AI workflows, maintaining a neutral guide keeps strategic discussions honest. If you choose to continue past 24 months, we transition to an ongoing facilitation cadence focused exclusively on long-term enterprise valuation, executive accountability, and deep strategic alignment. The choice is always yours; there are no long-term contracts holding you hostage.
