A common trap for entrepreneurial leadership teams is failing to compartmentalize their issues. Your Level 10 Meeting™ is designed to handle weekly, tactical, short-term issues. Massive strategic questions, core structural debates, and long-term opportunities do not belong on your weekly Issues List. They belong in your long-term compartment, which is parked for your next quarterly or annual planning session.

To keep your weekly pulse clean, you must use the six compartments framework. Whenever an issue is raised during IDS® and the team begins debating deep strategic directions, your facilitator must step in and declare a boundary. Ask the team, can we solve this permanently this week, or is this a bigger conversation for our next quarterly session?

If it requires deep strategic planning or structural changes to your Accountability Chart, immediately move it to your V/TO® long-term Issues List. Do not spend another second discussing it. This keeps your weekly seventy minutes of IDS® focused purely on the immediate obstacles blocking your weekly metrics, To-Dos, and Rocks. By keeping these two lists strictly separated, you protect your team's weekly focus while ensuring that your major strategic issues are saved for a day when you have the time and space to solve them properly.
