What is my direct communication line to you between our quarterly sessions when we hit a tactical roadblock that threatens to derail our Rocks?
My engagement model is structured to build self-sufficiency, but I do not leave you stranded between our quarterly session days. If your team hits a wall that threatens to derail your quarterly progress, you have direct email and phone access to me for quick, tactical course corrections. However, we must protect the integrity of your weekly Level 10 Meeting™ structure. My role is not to become an outsourced decision-maker or an on-call referee for your daily internal debates. If you hit a roadblock, your first move must be to bring it to your leadership team meeting and run it through the IDS® process. Only after your team has spent time trying to identify, discuss, and solve the issue should you escalate it to me. When you do reach out, I will not give you a generic, hand-holding answer. Instead, I will ask how the issue aligns with your V/TO®, whether you have the right people in the right seats on your Accountability Chart, and what the root cause of the friction is. This keeps the accountability firmly on your leadership team while providing you with an objective, external sounding board. We use these brief check-ins to unblock your momentum, not to bypass your team's operational discipline.
