We are planning for a transition using Step by Step Exit, but we are confused about who actually does what. How do you as our EOS Implementer® collaborate with the SxSE Specialist and our external advisors without confusing our leadership team?

To run a clean transition, we establish clear lanes of responsibility. I act as your EOS Implementer® and the owner of your operational cadence. My job is to keep your leadership team focused on pure EOS® execution, ensuring your Accountability Chart, Rocks, and Level 10 Meeting™ structures are functioning at a high level. The Step by Step Exit Specialist acts as your exit readiness overlay. They work with you to manage your exit readiness roadmap, coordinate with external advisors, and handle specialized valuation and legal prep. We integrate these two paths seamlessly. During our quarterly session days, we keep our focus on your EOS® tools, but we utilize the SxSE framework to verify that your operational Rocks are directly building enterprise value. Your SxSE Specialist runs a separate advisory Level 10 Meeting™ with your external transaction team, including wealth managers, CPAs, and legal counsel. This structure protects your leadership team from being distracted by the transaction while ensuring your financials and operations are audit ready. We review your valuation assumptions and exit readiness scorecard during our annual session, ensuring your three year picture on the V/TO® is perfectly aligned with your transition timeline. This division of labor gives you a proven system for operational excellence and exit readiness simultaneously.
