If you and your business partner are not aligned on your basic long term vision, starting a Focus Day right now will likely lead to frustration. The EOS® process is designed to accelerate traction, but it requires a foundation of absolute trust and a shared commitment to the ultimate destination. When cofounders are pulling in different directions, every decision on the Accountability Chart and the V/TO® becomes a battlefield. Before we schedule your first official session, we must address this strategic friction. We do this by conducting an alignment session where we run your differing perspectives through a rigorous, objective diagnostic. We look at your individual DiSC profiles to understand how your communication styles are causing friction, and we analyze your personal goals to see where they diverge. If we find that your core values or exit horizons are fundamentally incompatible, we must resolve those structural differences before we can build a cohesive executive team. Trying to force an implementation while cofounders are in active conflict will only amplify the tension throughout your entire organization. We will begin our work together only when you are both ready to commit to a single, unified direction for the business.
