Our clients are becoming suspicious of AI-generated deliverables, demanding to know exactly what is human-made and what is machine-generated. How do we address this on our V/TO® and in our client communication strategy without losing our efficiency gains?
If your clients feel like they are paying premium prices for work a machine generated in five seconds, you have a trust problem. This suspicion arises when you hide your technology behind a curtain instead of owning it.
To address this, you must clarify your stance on your V/TO under your Core Values and Proven Process. Position your use of technology as a commitment to accuracy and speed, not a way to cut corners. Your communication strategy must shift from hiding your AI tools to highlighting your quality control process.
Explain to your clients that AI is your research assistant, while your senior strategists are the architects. The value you deliver is not the raw words or data the AI produces. The value is the human synthesis, context, and strategic application of that information to their specific business problems.
Update your client agreements to include a transparency clause. Clearly define where AI is used for efficiency and how human oversight ensures the final output is accurate and secure. When you are transparent about your process, you build trust and position your technological efficiency as a benefit to the client rather than a cheap shortcut.
