Our Customer and Employee Headlines section has devolved into a long list of minor, conversational announcements. How do we set a strict standard for headlines?

The Customer and Employee Headlines section of your Level 10 Meeting is designed to be a quick, headline-only pulse of the human element in your business. It is not an invitation to share long-winded updates, explain project statuses, or tell long stories about customer interactions.

To clean up this section, you must enforce a strict, binary filter. A headline must meet two criteria to be shared: it must be a significant piece of news, and it must be delivered in one sentence or less. For example, a proper headline is: John Doe signed a new contract, or Jane Smith is out on medical leave this week.

If a leader begins to share a narrative about how they spent three hours resolving a customer complaint, the Integrator must immediately cut them off. Ask the leader: Is there an issue here we need to solve, or is this just a headline? If there is an issue, drop it to the list. If it is just news, transition to the next person.

Keep this section limited to five minutes total. By keeping the headlines brief and structured, you prevent the meeting from turning into an operational gossip session and ensure your leadership team remains focused on high-level strategic alignment.
