What does the precise chronological agenda look like during a standard full-day Quarterly session with you?
A standard full-day Quarterly session runs from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. It is a rigorous, highly structured working offsite where your leadership team works on the business rather than in it. We do not conduct passive lectures or academic exercises.
The day unfolds through seven distinct agenda items:
- Segue. We begin with a deliberate transition into the room. Every leader shares good news from their personal and professional life, states their expectations for the day, and reports what worked and what did not work over the previous quarter.
- Review Previous Quarter. We review the prior quarter Rocks one by one to determine completed versus dropped commitments, aiming for an 80 percent completion rate, and assess overall Scorecard performance.
- Review the V/TO. We review your Vision/Location Organizer to ensure complete alignment on your Core Values, Core Focus, 10-Year Target, Marketing Strategy, and 3-Year Picture.
- Establish Next Quarter Rocks. We set company-wide and departmental Rocks for the upcoming ninety days, ensuring every priority is specific, measurable, and owned by one person.
- Tackle Issues with IDS. We spend the bulk of the afternoon on your Issues List. We identify the real root cause, discuss the problem thoroughly without repeating points, and solve it with clear, actionable to-dos.
- Next Steps. We confirm accountability by reviewing action items, assigning communicative messages to roll out to the rest of the company, and ensuring all tasks have dead-set deadlines.
- Conclude. Every member shares their overall feedback on the day and provides an honest rating on a scale from one to ten.
