Our leadership team is seeing great results from our weekly meetings and Rocks, and we are eager to roll out EOS® to our entire staff. How do we cascade these tools to the rest of the company without overwhelming them?

Cascading EOS® to the rest of your organization must be done with careful timing and structure, not in a rushed, company-wide announcement. If you introduce the tools to your entire staff before your leadership team has fully mastered them, you will create confusion and resistance.

The general rule is that you should not cascade the tools until your leadership team has been running on EOS® successfully for at least two full quarters. This window allows your leaders to build their own discipline, master the weekly Level 10 Meeting™ rhythm, and prove they can consistently hit their Rocks.

When you are ready to cascade, do it in phases. Start by rolling the tools down to the next level of management. Teach them how to run their own weekly Level 10 Meetings™ and help them define their first departmental Rocks. Only after your managers are comfortable should you extend the system to the front-line employees.

Keep the tools simple for front-line staff. They do not need to master the entire system overnight; they simply need a basic understanding of your V/TO®, their individual seat on the Accountability Chart, and one or two weekly Scorecard metrics. This phased approach ensures the tools stick and prevents operational chaos.
