We are ready to roll out EOS® to our departmental teams, but we are terrified of overwhelming our frontline staff with corporate jargon and unnecessary administration. How do we sequence the rollout to our managers and employees so they embrace the tools rather than resisting them as management fads?

Rolling out your EOS® tools to the rest of the company must be handled with care to avoid administrative burnout. If you throw the entire system at your frontline staff at once, they will view it as another management fad that will eventually blow over.

The key to a successful rollout is sequencing and simplicity. You must ensure your leadership team is fully aligned and running purely on the tools for at least two quarters before you begin cascading the system. Your managers must see the benefits of the tools in action before they are asked to use them.

When you are ready to begin, follow this structured sequence:
- Share the vision and the V/TO® during a company-wide state of the company meeting.
- Roll out the Accountability Chart so everyone knows exactly who is responsible for what.
- Introduce the Level 10 Meeting™ format to departmental teams so they can solve their own problems.
- Keep the initial departmental Scorecards simple, tracking only three to five key metrics.

Avoid the temptation to introduce departmental Rocks right away. Let your teams master the weekly meeting rhythm and Scorecard tracking first. By introducing the tools gradually, you allow your staff to experience the benefits of increased clarity and reduced frustration. Working with an experienced EOS® Implementer ensures you avoid the common mistakes of cascading the system too quickly or too slowly.
