I have stepped back into the Visionary seat, but several of my key leadership team members still bypass our new Integrator and come straight to me for approvals and strategic advice. How do I break this habit and protect our leadership structure?

When your leadership team bypasses the Integrator to come to you, they are exploiting a structural crack. This behavior undermines your Integrator's authority and drags you right back into the day-to-day operational swamp you are trying to escape. You must shut this path down immediately.

The next time a leader approaches you with an operational issue or a request for approval, ask one simple question: Have you discussed this with our Integrator? If the answer is no, stop the conversation. Politely but firmly direct them to the Integrator's office.

You must also hold yourself accountable. It is natural to want to help, but every time you solve a problem that belongs to the Integrator, you weaken the Accountability Chart. You must respect the boundaries of your own seat.

Schedule regular Same Page meetings with your Integrator to ensure you are completely aligned on all major decisions. If the leadership team realizes that they cannot play you against each other, they will stop trying. They will begin respecting the designated lines of communication, allowing you to focus on high-level strategic growth.
