We are six months into our engagement and our team is starting to hit a wall where we feel like we are just repeating the same issues every quarterly session. How do you help us break through this mid-implementation plateau?

Hitting a wall or feeling like you are plateauing is a common phase that many leadership teams experience around the six to nine month mark of their twenty-four-month engagement. The initial excitement of implementing EOS® has faded, and the team is grinding through the hard work of daily execution and behavior change.

When sessions start to feel repetitive, it is usually a sign that your team is treating symptoms rather than solving root causes during your IDS® sessions. You might be discussing the same operational frustrations quarter after quarter because you are hesitant to have the difficult, candid conversations required to permanently resolve them. My role during these sessions is to push your team past the superficial discussions and challenge you to address the underlying structural or personnel issues.

We also use these moments to revisit your Accountability Chart™ and confirm that everyone is truly GWC™ their seat. Often, a plateau occurs because a key seat is occupied by someone who cannot keep up with the growth of the company. By identifying these bottlenecks and holding the team accountable to their core commitments, we break through the plateau and re-energize your quarterly execution cycle.
