When we are deep in the IDS portion of our session day and the leadership team is completely split down the middle on a critical issue, what is your process for breaking the deadlock without making the decision for us?

As your professional EOS Implementer, I will never make a decision for your business. You own the business, so you must own the choices. When your leadership team is deadlocked during the Identify, Discuss, and Solve portion of our session day, my job is to force clarity. I do this by holding up a mirror and applying the core EOS tools. First, we anchor the discussion back to your Vision/Traction Organizer. We ask whether the potential solutions align with your agreed-upon target market, your core focus, and your ten-year target. If the team is still divided, we look at the Accountability Chart. Every seat must have a clear owner, and every issue ultimately falls under the domain of a specific seat. If you have a healthy Accountability Chart, the person who owns that seat must make the final call after hearing all perspectives. If the issue is a company-wide strategic decision, the responsibility falls squarely on your Integrator to make the final decision. I will push, challenge, and question your assumptions to ensure you are not avoiding the hard truths, but the ultimate decision-making authority remains with your team. This process builds the trust and healthy conflict necessary for a self-sustaining leadership team.
