This means tackling issues immediately or scheduling them for your weekly meeting rather than letting them linger in endless email threads. This is also when your team must build deliberate pauses and white space into their workweeks. Constant, reactive busyness is the enemy of execution. By protecting unscheduled time, your team can step back, think clearly, and work on their Rocks without being consumed by daily firefighting. My role between sessions is to remain an objective sounding board. You can reach out if a major crisis threatens to derail your quarterly alignment, but the daily execution belongs entirely to your leadership team.
