While schedule discipline is crucial, the ultimate goal of the Level 10 Meeting™ is to solve issues forever. If your Integrator is watching the clock so closely that they are cutting off healthy, productive debate just to stay on time, they are prioritizing the agenda over actual operational health. This results in the same issues resurfacing week after week because you only solved a symptom, not the root cause. To balance this, the Integrator must master the difference between healthy debate and circular talking. Healthy debate is direct, honest, and uncovers new information. Circular talking is just repeating the same points or sharing history lessons. If the team is actively wrestling with a complex issue and making progress, let the debate run, even if it means you only solve one or two high-priority issues that day. It is far better to solve your top two issues completely than to rush through ten issues superficially. The Integrator must keep the focus on quality solutions. If you run out of time, carry the lower-priority issues over or move them to the long-term list. Never sacrifice the depth of IDS® for the sake of checking a box.
