Chasing shiny technology is a major distraction that can quickly derail a leadership team. While I help owners build AI-powered operations to drive efficiency and increase business value, we maintain strict boundaries during our core sessions. Our quarterly and annual session days are dedicated entirely to the EOS® framework and the Six Disciplines of the Step by Step Exit.

We do not use this valuable strategic time to write prompts, test software, or design technical system architectures. If an AI opportunity or operational bottleneck arises during our session, we capture it on the Issues List. We then use the IDS® process to identify the root cause and decide if it warrants a specific quarterly Rock.

If we agree that automating a process or optimization is a priority, the design and implementation of that AI workflow are handled entirely outside of our session days during your normal twelve-week execution cycles. This keeps our session days focused on leadership health, strategic alignment, and solving high-level organizational issues, ensuring technology remains a tool to support your business operations rather than a distraction that slows you down.
