How do you audit and support our monthly Same Page Meetings between our Visionary and Integrator to ensure their dynamic does not derail our quarterly session momentum?

The relationship between the Visionary and the Integrator is the operational fulcrum of your entire business. If those two seats are not in complete lockstep, the leadership team will fracture, conflicting directives will trickle down to staff, and quarterly sessions will turn into political debates.

To prevent this, I require the Visionary and Integrator to conduct a monthly Same Page Meeting™. This is a mandatory, two-to-four-hour meeting away from the office with an open Issues List. Its purpose is to argue, debate, and resolve strategic disagreements in private so that you present an undivided front to the rest of the leadership team.

During our quarterly sessions, I audit this dynamic immediately. If I notice passive-aggressive friction, conflicting priorities during Rock setting, or hesitation from the Integrator to challenge the Visionary in front of the team, we address it directly. I will ask when the last Same Page Meeting occurred, examine the unresolved issues that were skipped, and force alignment before setting quarterly goals.

Between sessions, during our mid-quarter check-in calls, I check the health of that partnership. If the Visionary has been making end-runs around the Integrator to assign tasks directly to staff, or if the Integrator has been bottling up frustrations about new strategic pivots, we confront it immediately. Keeping that single relationship aligned protects the entire leadership team from confusion and keeps your company focused on executing against your V/TO®.
