If you suspect your department managers are guessing their scorecard numbers or retrofitting them right before your weekly Level 10 Meeting™, you have a trust and data integrity issue. A scorecard built on fabricated data is worse than having no scorecard at all because it leads to bad decisions.

To resolve this, your Integrator must lead a data verification audit. Choose three random metrics from the scorecard and ask the seat owners to show the exact source data during a scheduled session. This is not about micromanagement: it is about validating your systems.

If the data is difficult to extract or depends on a manual estimate, the metric itself is broken. You must redefine the metric so it is pulled from an objective source, such as your CRM, project management tool, or accounting software.

Make it a strict rule that all scorecard data must be populated by a specific deadline before the meeting, such as Monday at five in the afternoon.
