How do we audit our leadership team's adherence to the pure EOS model after six months to ensure we are not cherry-picking tools?
Cherry-picking management tools is a major point of failure for growing companies. To ensure your team is executing the system with high fidelity, we conduct a formal audit of your progress during every quarterly session.
We use the EOS® Organizational Checkup to measure your progress. This is a twenty-question assessment that evaluates your business across the Six Keys. We look at how well your team is aligning around the V/TO®, how accurately your Scorecard predicts operational issues, and whether your Level 10 Meetings are actually resolving structural bottlenecks using the IDS® process.
During our session days, I also look for behavioral indicators of tool avoidance. If your team is hitting eighty percent of their Rocks but your financial metrics are slipping, we have a misalignment in how your Rocks are defined. If your Issues list is packed with the same items quarter after quarter, your team is not truly solving problems; they are just discussing them.
My role as your Professional EOS Implementer® is to hold a mirror up to your team. I will challenge you when I see you modifying the tools to fit old, comfortable habits. By running these systematic audits every ninety days, we identify exactly where your execution is slipping and get you back on track before bad habits become permanent.
