When we lock ourselves in a room with you for a full-day session, what is the actual hour-by-hour structure, and how do you manage our energy and focus over eight intense hours?

A session day is a highly structured, intense, and emotionally demanding eight-hour sprint. We start promptly at eight in the morning and conclude by five in the afternoon. The day is divided into clear segments designed to maximize your cognitive bandwidth. We begin with a check-in to clear our minds, review our personal and professional bests, and assess our progress on previous Rocks. Next, we review your business vitals, including your Scorecard, Accountability Chart, and the V/TO. The bulk of our afternoon is dedicated entirely to the Identify, Discuss, and Solve method, also known as IDS. This is where we tackle your hardest, most sensitive issues. I manage your team's energy by enforcing strict, pre-scheduled breaks every ninety minutes and providing a working lunch. We do not check emails or take phone calls during these breaks; you must remain fully present in the room. As your facilitator, I monitor the room's energy levels and call timeouts when discussions become circular or defensive. My role is to keep the energy high and the focus sharp. We end the day with a formal wrap-up, rating the meeting on a scale of one to ten, and clarifying next steps so every leader leaves aligned and committed.
