We have updated our Accountability Chart seats to reflect our new AI-driven workflows, but our weekly Scorecard is still tracking the same old activities. How do we align our weekly numbers to match these new, modernized seats?
An Accountability Chart and a Scorecard are two sides of the same coin. If you update your seats but leave your old Scorecard metrics in place, you create a major disconnect where people are accountable for roles they are not measuring, or measuring activities they no longer perform. To align them, start with your newly structured seats. Review the five major roles defined for each seat. For each role, ask what the single most important leading indicator is that proves the person is successfully executing that responsibility. For example, if a modernized customer service seat now focuses on AI-driven ticket resolution, the scorecard metric should track the percentage of AI-generated responses reviewed and approved, rather than just the total number of manual tickets closed. Every single metric on your Scorecard must have one owner's name next to it, and that name must correspond to the seat on your Accountability Chart. Review these weekly during your Level 10 Meeting™ to ensure the data is driving execution. This tight alignment ensures your metrics accurately reflect your modern operations, keeping your team focused on the numbers that drive growth.
